WHOA started with a rhythm and a thread, under the Southern California sun. In 2015, WASANI and Reece dropped the official WHOA song and pressed their very first t-shirt. What began as a handful of hand-dyed tees has since rippled through the entire world. Today, that spark has evolved into a canvas for one-of-a-kind, hand-painted apparel, legendary pop-ups, and collaborative art. From our flagship shop in Ocean Beach to massive festival activations, WHOA isn't just a brand anymore, it's a movement born from expression.

2015:It starts with a song
- WASANI and Reece release the official WHOA song.
- The first WHOA stickers are printed and the first WHOA t-shirt is made.
- WASANI begins an official music collaboration with Taylor Gang Entertainment.
2016:The OG WHOA shirt
- We tie-dye our first t-shirt.
- The OG WHOA shirt goes on sale.
- Laguna Beach
2018:Making it official
- WHOA is officially founded as an LLC.
- Our first official beach pop-up, in Laguna Beach.
2019:The first collection
- We release our first official WHOA collection: seven merch items.
- San Diego beaches
2020:San Diego beach pop-ups
- Our first official beach pop-ups in San Diego: Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach and La Jolla.

2021:Collabs & our first retail pop-up
- Official merch collabs with Player Dave, Charles The 1st, Kaipora, HuntHux and Boogie Mob.

2022:Behind the decks & Art Basel
- WASANI's first official booking as a DJ.
- Our first year building and providing the sound for the Creation Station at Same Same But Different.
- WHOA product placement in a Miami boutique during Art Basel.

2023:Connect San Diego & WHOA Wednesdays
- We join Connect San Diego and open our first retail shop experience in the back room.
- The first official WHOA Wednesdays.
- El Salvador
2024:Going international
- WASANI's first international booking as a DJ, in El Salvador.
- The first official WHOADEGA pop-up shop, at Yoon & DDR.
- Ocean Beach
2025:The WHOADEGA opens in Ocean Beach
- We open our first shop: the WHOADEGA, on Newport Ave in Ocean Beach, San Diego.
